What started out as an incredible spring, has turned just a tad sour. April was chilly, but the trees in the orchard were beautiful. Pictures just don’t do justice to the coppery color of those honey crisp apple trees.

Bill spent an all too short time in the Georgia/Florida area looking for a winter retreat. Everything seemed to be moving along very well. Then, a cold snap. Really just one night – and BOOM! The cherry crop is going to one of the smallest ever and the apples – well, there are apple trees that will only receive the most cursory of attention this year. Mother Nature certainly packs a punch.
